Animal Cruelty

I really can’t stand those who torture animals especially cats and dogs. They do have feelings and they can also feel the pain. Watching animals suffer the pain that’s caused by human act really pisses me off. Only human with no soul and heart could do that to them.

Over the years, animal lovers like me have stood by and watched helplessly as municipal council workers handled stray dogs with brute force, pet owners neglected or abandoned their pets, zoo animals continued to live in deplorable conditions, and stray animals were maimed/killed by cruel individuals. On Youtube, there are a lot of videos showing animal abuse by human and we do nothing but crying out heart out while watching the animals suffer the incredible pain.
(A slideshow about the abuse to animals across the globe)

Here, I earnestly urge you to act in all expediency to quash this kind of inhumane, arrogant behaviour by people around you, as allowing them to continue will result in the needless suffering of hundreds of thousands of animals every year, and undoubtedly have a negative impact upon youngsters.

Here are some brilliant ways on how to avoid animal abuse and save the innocent animals from cruelty.

1. Report animal abuse.
Humaneness begins in the community with people providing responsible care for their animals. If you see animal abuse in your community, call the authorities.  We all need to be vigilant in our communities.
2. Spread the word.
Tell your friends and family about your stand against animal cruelty. Let them know about what’s really going on out there. For instance, you can share the video related to animal abuse on your Facebook profile. That’s a wise thing to do for a start.
3. Write a letter
Write to the editor of your local newspaper or maybe create a Youtube video about the need to end animal cruelty.

Do something. Take action, make yourself heard! yeehee.

Cherophobia

Happiness is bliss

Happiness is when you get a new puppy,
Happiness is when you get married,
Happiness is when you go on you first date,
Happiness is making your own decisions,
Happiness is graduating,
Happiness is getting you first job,
Happiness is falling in love,
Happiness is being proud of who you are.

Happiness is bliss

Happiness is glowing,
Happiness is fun,
Happiness is an amazing feeling,
Happiness is when you smile all day,
Happiness is giving someone a hug just because you can,
Happiness is that light in your eyes,
Happiness is what makes the world go around.

Happiness is bliss.

Do you always feel depressed or angry all the time? Do you NOT feel happy with all those things mentioned in the poem above? Well, listen up peeps because you must have Cherophobia. Cherophobia is the fear of joyfulness and happiness. It’s a true thing. If you don’t believe me, you can google it right now. Hehe. But, what I don’t understand is that why on earth people develop this kind of phobia. I mean, I’ll totally understand if you are fear of dark, height or spider but fear of rejoicing? The hell. I don’t know whether this kind of people even exists but if it does exist, their life must be really fucked up.  Here’s a video that portrays the phobia more clearly.

If you’ve watched it, you might get the idea behind Cherophobia and how it affects people with their daily life. It’s really weird. You can find elaborated information regarding this phobia on this website:

For me, FUN is the real gift by God. There are funny people, funny jokes, funny pictures and funny stories that are gonna cheer us up everyday. Happiness keeps me calm and stays positive to get through my day even though I was having a very crappy day. Without having to feel the fun, it’s a curse for someone. It’s like a part of us has died. I’m not saying I hate people with this kind of condition, in fact I feel bad for them.

So, normal people like us, who don’t have this phobia, we should be thankful we are able to feel the fun and enjoy it. I know happiness is hard to find, but we all have to just get out there and let the nature takes its course. There will be plenty moments of happiness await you. You gotta find it. Not everyone is born with a sunny disposition, but we can all learn how to bring more meaning, satisfaction and happiness into our lives. yeehee!

“Try to make at least one person happy every day, and then in ten years you may have made three thousand, six hundred and fifty persons happy, or brightened a small town by your contribution to the fund of general enjoyment.”

New Year's Resolution

We are in the year 2012 now. Yeehee..That kinda reminds me of the mega movie “2012” that predicted the world is gonna come to an end in 2012. There are people who believe the prediction will come true and there are people (majority I guess) who don’t believe in that crap. Either way, when it comes to belief, it’s hard to deny it or approve it. It’s all up to individuals.

Anyways, every year people will come up with their own resolutions in the hope to become a better person. Maybe that sounds corny and lame. I never had a New Year's resolution before because I believe that in order to become a better person, it does not take a new year for us to make a resolution. You can have a resolution after your birthday or maybe after your graduation day. But this year, I have thought through about my resolution. I think it’s time for me to do something different in my life. For your information, I will graduate from my degree early next year. So, that makes me thinking about what I should do next after graduating. Probably I should go looking for a job or maybe continue my study in upper level. So, this year, my resolutions are: I will not take everything for granted again. I will be more serious in handling problems. I’m also gonna be nice to all people regardless of their beauty, sex, race and religion. That’s the three resolutions I made. I know it’s lame, cheesy but who cares. It’s my resolutions, not yours. Hehe and I hope I will stick to that throughout this year. I know it’s hard for us to stick to our resolution. I mean, c’mon, we barely keep our promise for a day let alone a year. So, here I’m gonna write some tips to keep our resolutions and change our life for the better.
There are ten tips for you so that you’ll still be going strong on your 2012 New Year’s resolutions come May, July and November.

1. Make It A Goal

Make sure your resolution is something that you think is achievable that you know when you’ve met a goal.

2. Be Specific

Be direct and specific with your resolution. Don’t be vague! A goal to lose weight is vague. For example if you want to lose some weight this year, make sure you have specific plans on how you are gonna achieve that. Maybe your goal might be to eat small, healthy meals and do cardio for an hour a day. That’s good enough.

3. Write It Down

Make sure your resolutions are listed down on a paper or maybe in your phone where you can see that everyday.

4. Break It Into Actionable Steps

You must divide your goal into small actionable steps so that you won’t burden yourself later. Step-by-step actions are better than one big fat action that seems impossible to achieve.

5. Be Realistic

You must set your goals realistically so that you might not feel falling off the wagon before the ride gets started.

6. Share Your Resolution

Sharing is caring. That’s lame but it does work peeps. By sharing your dreams and desires with friends and family you hold yourself accountable and ensure you breath life into your goals.

7. Keep Visual Reminders

Hanging a note on your bathroom mirror or on the wall beside your computer will definitely remind you of your resolutions.

8. Visualize The End Results

Then, try to stay focus on the outcome which eventually can give you the motivation to get started.
9. Reward Yourself
Find small ways to reward yourself when you go a certain amount of time maintaining your resolution or meet a goal.
10. Stay Positive
Be positive and smile all the time. Stress does not help you achieve your goal. Yeehee J
